About Me:
 
I love traditional and original instrumentals. I have tried to preserve the old traditional mountain music as much as possible, by keeping the old fiddle tunes to the forefront of my playing. I believe in teaching and handing down the music from the hills whenever possible. I will teach tunes to anyone who wants to learn, and collect tunes from anyone willing to teach. My wish is to be able to use this talent to the expressed joy of others! My wish is coming true by playing with THE STRINGFIELD BAND. I have won 1st place in the Southwest Regional Hammered Dulcimer contest at Mountain View, Arkansas in 2006, and finished in the top 5 at the National Contest at Winfield Kansas. This is not an easy task, I am glad that I had the opportunity to be there. May your smiles continue and your toes keep tapping.

Thanks for subscribing to my channel. I was the dobro player for the Dogwood Dulcimer Stringband in Jefferson City for awhile. Me on dobro, a guitar player and 5 hammer dulcimer players. It was fun while it lasted.

Thank you for subscribing to our videos and for your "friends" request. We have had other "friends" requests that didn't seem to fit and we did not respond. Your profile does seem to fit ours like a glove but can you tell us how becoming friends improves or enhances our current youtube ability to communicate? We're new at this.
