An Indianapolis native, ECURB received local acclaim for his 1st album Back 2 the Essence which was distributed in limited release in 1999. Since that tIme this multi - talented rapper, actor and producer has been honing his skills and fulfilling his destiny - creating music that not only entertains, but enlightens. His soulful lyrics relay the realism of lifes challenges and choices in a relevant way.

ECURB's musical influences stretch from classic Sam Cooke & Al Breen to 70's and 80's great artist and groups such as Prince, Michael Jackson and Cameo. From there it is not hard to understand why ECURB cherishes the soul tradition of lyricism combined with strong melodies. ECURB produces a sound that can only be described as therapeutic.

ECURB's second full length studio album titled 'CUZ THIS IS IT', was self-produced and is n ow available for downlaod on iTunes, Amazon.com, CDBaby.com as well as ECURB's own website www.initiative2lead.com.
