Then again, she also did a remake of Respect, and artists will usually do covers in their career to pay tribute, because they love a song, because people will ask them to. You're the first to say that you don't appreciate anyone covering her, which I completely understand.
I am also a huge Michael Jackson, started out singing Jackson 5 songs as a kid, but I'm extremely careful covering his songs, even though lots of people have asked me to. So I know exactly what you mean. Just know it was done with my deepest admiration and respect.
