I love Jazz and some Blues. Jazz is freedom of expresion and one of the only music forms where the performer has a chance too speak ideas through an instrument. It is a young music but in terms of music today its old. It is experimental and there are really no rules. listen to Ornette Colman if you want an example of outside the box of rules.
