Dylan Earle Johnson was born in a small town in Nebraka on
Christmas morning in 1989. He started writing songs when
he was only nine years old. He feel in love with artists that
he heard around the house growing up, artists such as
Robert Johnson, Hank Williams Sr., Charlie Patton, Son House,
Johnny Cash and Woody Guthrie. He started playing guitar
at the age of ten and found the music of Bob Dylan not long
after that. "As soon as I heard him I knew from that point on
what my life was going to be for me" he said. He trys not to
label himself any one way but he said wants to bring back
the feel of the classic music from the masters he grew up on.
He has started work on his debut indie Ep DUST AND THE WIND
and hopes to release it this coming year as well as set up North
and South American tours in support of the project. When asked
about how well he thinks the record will do, his only comment was
"If you want to hear a bare boned personal record then you better
take yourself down and pick it up." More news and info. will be posted
