Most videos on my channel are of my three dogs: Irish, a male golden retriever, who, sadly, went ahead to wait at Rainbow Bridge on 6/3/09 at the age of 16 years 5 months and 1 week; Tori, a female golden retriever, who turned 10 on May 6, 2010; and Moxie, a female corgi/jack russell terrier mix, who I "adopted" in January of 2006 and made her birthday April 5, 2004. Sadly, Moxie lost her battle with lyme nephritis and went to the Bridge on 1/2/2010.

All three dogs are/were therapy dogs. Irish did 200+ therapy visits, Tori is around 250 and counting, and Moxie is still pretty new at the game but is loving it. Places visited include a homeless shelter's preschool day-care center, a special ed school and special ed camps, local hospitals, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, a hospice, nursing homes, Alzheimer's units and senior centers.

Irish spent 3 long days at the Pentagon Family Assistance Center after 9/11 and (along with the many other therapy dogs who spent countless hours at the Pentagon and at the World Trade Center sites after that tragic day) was of great benefit to the survivors, families (especially the children), staff and other volunteers who were able to draw comfort from the dogs. Irish also went to the one-year anniversary ceremony at the Pentagon, and Tori stood in for Irish at the Pentagon's Sept 11, 2008 memorial dedication. I have not forgotten, and I will NEVER forget ....

Irish and Tori have obedience and field (hunt) titles, and Tori has agility titles as well. Both dogs have done some tracking but I haven't worked on it enough to get them any tracking titles.

I also help out with rescue organizations, especially GRREAT (http://grreat.org) and PAW (http://www.paw-rescue.org/DOGS), and I attend Goldstock every year over Labor Day weekend to help raise money for golden retriever rescue organizations across the country.

I hope you enjoy my videos! The early ones are pretty basic and not the best, but I've had a lot of fun editing the later ones!
