About this user

I'm a student of literature, religious history, and philosophy, born in Melbourne but living for now in Montreal. I took six months to reach Montreal, passing through much of Asia and Russia. Previously I've also lived in Lancaster and Paris. I hope to move to Buenos Aires at some stage next year. My favourite short stories are Joseph Conrad's "Youth", Sartre's "The Wall", Kafka's "Metamorphosis", and Robert Louis Stevenson's "The Bottle Imp", while my favourite books are Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "One Hundred Years of Solitude", Joseph Conrad's "Heart of Darkness", and Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment." I currently bartend at an Irish pub in Montreal, and am working on a paper about the history of the afterlife. I can't stop drinking gin.
