Award winning comedy Writer/Director team Jessica Burstein and Robbie Norris,
aka Dumb Bunny, premiered their short film Abbie Cancelled at Sundance and screened at over
25 festivals worldwide, winning Best Short Film at The Big Apple Film Festival and Best Narrative
at the Western Film Festival. They are currently working in partnership with William Morris Endeavor
to develop the feature length version of Abbie Cancelled. Previously fierce competitors at MTV before realizing
that their offbeat comedy styles were a perfect match, Dumb Bunny won Promax awards for Best of Cable
for the MTV campaign 'Don't Cha' in 2007. After writing and directing four hilarious music videos
for Turbotronics, Dumb Bunny won Best Music Video for Corporate Lady, which aired on MTVU.
Robbie and Jessica work as a team and as individuals writing, directing
and producing for film and television. Robbie is also producing/composing
music for commercials and Turbotronics. Jessica is the former Co-President
of CineWomen NY and the Writer/Director/Star of her award-winning
MFA thesis film, Veronika's Birthday.
