Show Me The World
How do you know you exist unless you tell someone you are there?
'Show Me The World' explores how the image we project in cyberspace reconciles with our reality. Teenagers feel the need to connect yet fewer and fewer are doing so. Scenes smash into one another as stories spill across the stage.
The play follows several young people as they move from the virtual world to the social rite of passage at The Glastonbury Festival 2012.
This new play is written by playwright Simon Vinnicombe. It's an urgent play about this generation, told by the people living it now. Simon won the Pearson Bursary Award (2010). With preview performances at the Brighton Fringe 'Show Me the World' will perform throughout August at the Edinburgh Fringe.
