'Dukono' are a Psychedelic Rock and Roll band from London, formed in October 2010. In only a short space of time the band has bounced onto the live music scene both here in the UK and Overseas. Already they have notched up a major tour support slot in Kuwait, with multi-platinum selling artists 'The Feeling', as well as headlining at The Scala in London supporting DJ sets from Bloc Party and Kasabian.
The band describe themselves as 'A cross between The Verve and Oasis meets Led Zeppelin. It's melodic and psychedelic; rock'n'roll you can dance to.' Playing live 'Dukono' create a wall of sound that blows you off your feet, whilst at the same time leaving their soaring, sing-along choruses firmly imprinted in your soul.
The band's line up share a multitude of experience both live and in the studio, incorporating a guitarist from Brazil and a drummer whose session work has afforded him an upcoming movie role. When you listen to them, you can hear The Stone Roses, Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix to name a few. However this sound, their sound can only be described as 'Dukono'.
