Welcome to the Duke University School of Nursing. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree program of study prepares nurses to become leaders who will inform, develop, evaluate and transform disease management within complex health systems and diverse communities. In 2007, the DNP degree program joined the existing Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program (ABSN), the Master of Science in Nursing degree program (MSN), the Post-Master's certificate programs, and the PhD in Nursing degree program to complete the set of educational offerings that support preparation for the many career opportunities in nursing today.
