Compare your itouch with another itouch 4g, maybe it is a faulty model. But if not, maybe apple is using worst screens for the ipod touch. The best example is that de iphone 4 has a better ips screen.

Can you compare the IPS screen of the iphone 4 with the itouch screen ? I can see the iphone has a better viewing angle. And maybe you can compare the wifi N vs wifi G of the previous itouchs.
