Clown Walking FAQ:
Q. How long does it take to get good?
A. I first noticed i was getting better after about 4 months of practice

Q. How Long have you been cwalking?
A. Over a Year now

Q. What shoes do you recommend?
A. I wear Nike Cortez Leathers or Nylons, other shoes are chuck taylors, van slip ons, nike dunks, anything light

Q. How often do you practice?
A. When I was very active I would go outside and c walk on my driveway for about 30 minutes, nothing intense just for fun.

Q. What is beat riding?
A. Beat riding is hitting the claps with step backs, x hops, bounces. Going with the same speed as the song

Q. Whats the difference between crip, clown and crown?
A.
Crip - "gang related" slow style, hitting all claps in the beat based around shuffles and V's
Clown - Fast style, taking advantage of all variations of the v, heel toe and shuffle. less focused on beat riding and more focus on style
Crown - Slower Style, more hops, hits the beats, uses all moves and variations. Mix of Crip and Clown (CRip + clOWN = CR-OWN)

Q. Do you listen to music while c walking?
A. Of course, same song on my ipod as the song the video is too

Q. How do you pick a song?
A. Usually I shuffle through a playlist until i find a song that feels good at the time

Q. How do you be less repetitive
A. By not sticking to the same step, instead transitions from different moves as often as possible

Q. How do I find my own style?
A. By not copying every other c walker you see, by not watching tutorials. Make up your own variations and try new things that you haven't seen before. Go days without watching other c walker's videos.

Q. What pants should I wear?
A. Baggy sweat pants feel very comfortable and look good when your going fast or slow

Q. Where do I start?
A. The V and the shuffle, once you get your balance you can work on other moves. It takes time but before you know it you won't be thinking about toes together, heels together.... it will just go
