The problem with the god-squat is that they really cannot see the problem of their solution. By introducing God to as an answer to the complexity of the cosmos they have at an instant doubled (or is it squared?) the number and size of their initial problem. Who created God then? No one, he just appeared. Then why not the universe?

Science is about facing up to facts, observations and using our intelligence to turn things over and then choose the most correct solution. We have come a long way though, the low IQ, bible thumpers, zealots, witch-burners have held sway for centuries, I like to think the are on the way out. Science will always win because it responds to and changes with new discoveries. Religious books can't change - they just become more and more irrelevant.
