carriage accident at Fair Hill
harness broke in water hazzard going up a steep hill. The harness slid back acting as a bucking strap. No one was injured including the horse.

@no1horselover that is not a heavy load! and if a harness slid back on a draft horse it would have started bucking! just an fyi they do this kind of competition with miniature horses and ponies as well, the carraiges are designed to evenly distribute the weight.

@thyslop1 If you were in the show ring and got that close to another horse's rear with a stud you would find yourself quickly disqualified! simply because IT IS DANGEROUS! for both the horse and the handler!

you should try using a western saddle as it distributed weight more evenly and eventually switch back to the english saddle, the tree of that saddle looks too small and could be "pinching " the withers when he moves. the saddle also looks way too small for that rider, and that will mess up the we...

Actually under 34 inches and under @ the withers is a class "A" Miniature horse, over 34 inches to 38 inches @ the withers is a class "B" Miniature horse, over 38 inches @ the withers is considered a "pony".

it isn't their bellies, it is air moving around their sheath area, that is why only male horses make this sound.
