These lyrics were written to be from specific scenes in the ORIGINAL game (not Crisis Core, but the original Final Fantasy 7) Aerith's life in the slums, her first meeting with Cloud that ended up starting her journey, her appearance in his dream as she ventured alone into the City of Ancients to summon Holy, the great sorrow her comrades felt when she died, and her ever-supportive presence even from the lifestream.

When I was in Palestine, every one of the Palestinians that I met were pious people but all of the Israelis with exceptions of a tiny few did not belief in God. They had no empathy or very little of it.
