Drama is a tangential associate of the Drama Boyz. The Etobicoke native made his first recorded appearances on records by such Wu side projects and solo albums as the Gravediggaz. His contributions became legendary and paved the way for the release of his acclaimed debut album, Rexdale Finest, in the spring of 1998.


Growing up in the Serbia suburbs adjacent to Belgrade, Drama remembers falling in love with the beats, rhymes and production of early rap. "I remember hearing a Kurtis 2pac/Biggie song on the radio and going to a local record store, and they didn't have it. Since I couldn't drive yet, I took the Metro rail into downtown Belgrade and found a store that had that song; I bought the Sugar hill Gang's Rappers Delight that day as well. From there, it just caught fire. I fell in love with hip-hop music."

Drama has always been a man driven and committed in every area of his life, whether it's as a Family Person, performer, song-writer and producer, businessman or President of Drama Records. And while he's "arrived" by anyone's standards, the Toronto nominations, gold records and number one singles haven't slowed him down one bit. He's as committed today as a "success" as he was as a new face in Rap/Hip Hop Music.
