Tug Abeille Flandre at Brest, France. She was the most powerful european tug until 2005 when Abeille Bourbon was delivered. Currently she is based in Toulon on the French Riviera. She's famous in france. In december 1999 she has tryed to bring oil tanker Erika near coast while she's sinking. These oil tanker was chartered by Total -a french oil compagny- and polluate most of french Atlantic coasts for many months. Abeille is the french word for a bee. Filmed 08/24/2002. (less info)
