I am a gypsy. Genetically speaking I am 1/6th gypsy but I was raised in the ways of gypsy culture and gypsy traditions and so was my mother therefore I have more in common with gypsies than the gadje and I feel that I have the right to call myself a gypsy as does my whole family. And I am proud of it.

I was called upon by the spirits to be a shaman through shamanic illness-same goes for my little sister, my mother, my uncle, and grandfather. I became ill at age 9 with a life threatening unknown illness. After I had excepted this fate I got better and literally felt like I had been reborn.
