This is my little "refuge of reason." Most everybody I deal with every day is religious--christian, mainly. I don't really talk about being an atheist, and nobody asks me about church or god. They must know, pretty much, where I stand. But it just doesn't come up, and I don't bring it up. There seems to be a "don't-ask-don't-tell" attitude about the whole thing. They don't ask, because they don't really want to know. And I don't tell because, well, they really DON'T want to know (I do like and care about these people). But it does get pretty tiresome hearing so much crap about god and having no one to talk to openly about it. So, I am very grateful for the atheist community on YouTube. I use this channel as a base, my tenuous connection to other like-minded people, and I save some videos that I like here. Feel free to have a look around. This is my little "refuge of reason." Hahaha, ty for the comment! Yeah, I had some fundie fucktard troll try to tell me in the comments section that Hovind actually read 65 books for that book report, er, "thesis," since the bible contains 66 "books" (he wasn't happy when I corrected his 65 mistake, either). Hovind's fifth grade book report = biggest pile of shite I've ever had the displeasure of reading, and I only made it about 20 or so pages into it, haha.
