I love how they're playing acoustic instruments (guitar, bass, etc.) in the video, even though they're clearly electric in the actual song. At first it seems like it doesn't make sense. But nothing in this video, or any of their videos, really makes sense, so I'm not complaining.

This show actually made me feel sad for Solomon Grundy. When a show or a book can take a minor, C-List character, who's usually just a background character in a much larger plot, and make you care about him as if he were a main character--that is good storytelling right there.

In reality, not only does subscribing to certain "alternative" fashion not make you a creative person, but actual creative people generally look and act more like "mainstream" people, since they expect to be judged by what they create, and not by how they dress, or how well they can follow trends...
