You can look at it as a both good or a bad thing. Playing the same kind of riffs over and over might get boring, but then you also get to hear the difference between the amplifiers.

Of course it makes a difference. There are many ways to use a tubescreamer. You can use it as an overdrive as some blues players might do, for example, or you can use it as a clean boost for solos, like many guitarists of different playing styles do.

I think that the Marshall sounds better...
But, the Bugera sounds really and I mean REALLY excellent for the price. To further that, I think that it's a really promising head and definitely good for those who can't afford the good ol' Marshall.
