One other film you may be interested in is called ‘The Blue Peter’. The film was about a group of boys taking part in an ‘Outward Bound Sea School -OBSS’ course and stars Harry Fowler. Quite a few locals are shown in this film as well as many locations in and around the village...

These films had been shown in the village a number of years ago and have reappeared after Hugh passed away. We have been given permission to release the films by Collin, a relative of Hugh’s. I would guess they were filmed in or around 1963/64, I’m the same age as Malcolm Evans who is ...
