I grew up in North Carolina helping farm, puttin in tobacco, running from boar hogs, fishing and terrorizing the wildlife (including rattlesnakes and water moccasins).
After HS, I started college but I soon learned two things. 1. I was a lot less intellectual than everyone else, and 2. I was a lot smarter than everyone else, so I quit (for a few years anyway). No one owes me anything, especially not for a piece of paper on my wall.
In a military capacity, I've been to South America, Grenada, Lebanon, the Middle East, Africa and some friendlier Euporean countries.
Playing guitar has been the one thing constant and my sanity for over 40 years, whenever life goes to crap...that or popping a few rounds at a target. Blowing stuff up is always fun.
