Hello! and welcome to the official youtube page for Double Up Dance Group.

Paul and Brian Herman began their dancing journey while growing up in the
inner city of the South Bronx. The youngest of four siblings, they worked
together to form Double Up Dance Group, ("Double Up"). From an early age,
dancing played a major role in their lives. Their dancing style was
influenced by great entertainers and a strong Caribbean background. Their
energizing, versatile moves and their captivating stage presence helped them
get noticed within their community and soon after by an industry which would
give them an opportunity of a lifetime. Double Up&aposs experience has varied
from local talent and fashion shows and community events to back-up dancing,
music videos, instructing, commercials and modeling. The group has had the
opportunity to perform across the world with some of the industry&aposs top
leading artists, and chorographers and has been trained in dancehall, but
mainly in hip-hop.

In January of 2008, Double Up began choreographing and touring with
international Universal recording artist Ms. Kat Deluna. The group has been
featured in videos with Kat such as "Whine Up", and "Dancing Tonight". Other
videos the group has been featured in are as follows: Eve featuring Sean
Paul "Give it to you" and "Serani "No Games". In addition, Vox, a German
television station filmed Double Up for the documentary, "Auf Und Davon,"
translated as "Come on let&aposs go" in the summer of 2007. Lastly, Double Up
was featured in Reebok&aposs "Your Move" commercial for their spring 2008
campaign. Double Up&aposs choreography credits go as far as choreographing for
artist such as the following: Donnie Klang, J-Status, G-Brunot, Stephen
Michaels, and Kat Deluna. In 2007 Double Up co-choreographed alongside
well-known chorographer, Tanisha Scott for Ms. Alicia Keys&apos epic performance
at the American Music Awards.

When asked by a "Rap Fanatic" magazine reporter what has contributed to
Double Up&aposs success over the years the group stated, "The number one reason
would be our drive and determination to be successful in this industry. We
love what we do and dancing is a great way of expressing ourselves. It also
gives us an opportunity to work in an environment we feel very confident
in."

In April of 2010 Double Up took their passion to another level by opening
Double Up Dance Company. Their education, knowledge, and experience over the
years have helped them establish a growing dance company which they now have
the opportunity of applying what they have learned over the years. While
Double Up&aposs accomplishments continue to flourish as they pursue their
passion, they never lose sight of their long-term goal of opening a state of
the art performing arts facility of their own so they can give back to
motivated students like themselves.
