Joe T Vannelli è un dj, remixer e produttore tra i più famosi in Italia e nel mondo per quanto riguarda la musica house. Nella scena dance è tra i dj più conosciuti in assoluto, al punto da essere definito "pioniere assoluto della house music" per la sua capacità di creare ed imporre uno stile musicale nel quale melodia e ritmo coesistono come un'unica entità. Inizia la sua carriera da dj nel 1977, lavorando in radio e discoteche. Uno stile che ha fatto scuola ovunque influenzando l'evoluzione della musica da club. Le sue differenti dimensioni artistiche ne fanno una delle figure più complete e trasversali in ambito dance. Tutti i sabato sera - dalle 23 alle 24 - Vannelli conduce su Radio DeeJay Slave To the Rhythm, un programma di sessanta minuti dedicato alle migliori novità house, rigorosamente mixate.
Dall' autunno 2000 Vannelli ha creato la sua one-night Supalova, divenuta in breve tempo un appuntamento di riferimento nel panorama house mondiale. Supalova si svolge a Milano ed è in tour itinerante in tutta Italia. Fanno parte di Supalova, oltre allo stesso Vannelli, vocalist (come Mc Cody), percussionisti (Silvano Del Gado) altri dj (Vannelli Bross) e molti altri intrattenitori. Tantissimi i guests che in questi anni si sono succeduti a Supalova: Mousse T., Todd Terry, Little Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez, Francois Kevorkian, Tedd Patterson, Hector Romero, Tony Humphries, David Morales, David Guetta soltanto per citare gli stranieri top. Supalova Club è anche una serie di compilation discografiche, arrivate nel dicembre 2007 al quattordicesimo volume. Le compilation Supalova entrano sempre nelle classifiche di vendita, un record assoluto in tema di compilation house.
Nel 1993 esce il singolo Play With The Voice con la partecipazione vocale di Csilla. IL brano vanta varia remixes, tra cui quelli di Masters at Work, Paul van Dyk e Joey Beltram; nel 1995, sempre con Csilla, pubblica il singolo Voices In Harmony. Nel 2004 è stato pubblicato "Who fucked the dj?" il primo album di Vannelli, contenente sia nuove produzioni, sia vecchi successi. Nel 2008 Vannelli pubblicherà il suo secondo album. Ha pubblicato dischi anche con il nome JT Company.
Vannelli si è esibito nelle più famose discoteche del pianeta a New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Dubai, Sidney, Melborune, Tokio, Londra, Parigi, Ibiza, Mikonos, Amsterdam, Oslo, Helsinky, Berlino e Amburgo. Ha partecipato a party e eventi del calibro di Ministry of Sound, Soap, Renaissance, Creame numerosi altri. É stato protagonista di tournèe in Oceania, Giappone, Caraibi,
È il primo dj stato vincitore dei Dj Awards al Pacha di Ibiza.
È proprietario di una casa discografica, la Jt Company (fondata nel 1989), e anche di diverse etichette.
Ha remixato Giorgio Moroder, Bohannon, Thelma Houston, Bobby Brown, Mark Morrison, Eartha Kitt, Danny Tenaglia, Little Louie Vega e David Guetta É stato produttore di Robert Miles, Spiller, Pink Coffee, Rockets. Attualmente nella sua scuderia figurano Helen&Terry, Csilla, Silvano Delgado, John Made, Mario Scalambrin.
Vanta anche una carriera di doppiatore ed ha prestato la sua voce a marchi quali Smart, Fiat, Lotto, Parmalat. Come testimonial ha partecipato e partecipa a campagne pubblicitarie per marchi quali Burn, MTV, Camel Yamaha, Axe, Robe di Kappa, Levi's, World dj Fund.
Tra i suoi progetti in divenire per il 2008, l' inaugurazione della discoteca Area Venice di Venezia, che Vannelli ha acquisito per trasferire in un club la sua esperienza e la sua passione pluriennale per il djing. L' Area Venice viene inaugurata a febbraio e si presenta come un concentrato unico di tecnologia ai massimi livelli.
Lo slogan preferito di Vannelli è House Forever, e niente potrebbe rispecchiare al meglio la sua filosofia di vita.
