This channel is a resource for students of the Dordogne Jazz Summer School and includes movies taken of jams and performances by students at all levels of achievement (and tutors). The content does not accurately represent the content of the course, just those performances someone thought worth videoing. The Dordogne Jazz Summer School is based at Chateau de Monteton, in south west France and led by pianist & composer Andrea Vicari. Our philosophy is to offer a week of total immersion in jazz and improvisation. An intensive musical language course in a supportive enviroment, with a lot of enthusiastic people at all levels. If you're interested in studying with us go to the website listed.

Howdy,

Thanks for subscribing to my RagJazzMonkey channel here on YouTube. There are more than 640 videos on my channel, and most or them are Ragtime and traditional jazz performances of individual musicians, or a band/orchestra. I hope you explore them a bit, and find some that you enjoy, and please leave comments and ratings if you like.

Thanks for viewing!

Best regards,
