I Like to play Doom.(Alot). I suck in Doom 2 on skulltag which is Deathmatch mode because I need lots of practice. I just found out this stuff about skulltag and stuff involving online. Couple years back and before... I was playing Ps1 Doom. I loved it and kept playing it untill I steped on it causing it to break. I got mad and so upset. some time ago after the incident happend, i carried a magazine to my bus stop. When I opened the magazine to any random page I accidently found Doom for the PC. I looked at the picture and I Thought to my self, 'Why is the health bar look so different then the psx Doom"? 2 years later in 2009, I got a laptop for christmas... About 5 months or so... After I built my fathers computer from scratch. I just put wifi on my fathers computer that i built... That night I tried to Search for Doom for pc. Come to find out that I found Doom 95. I downloaded it and found out that you can play with your joystick. I used my Ps3 Aterglow joystick but Doom 95 was in shareware version so I only played 6 maps at the max. Then, One day I wanted to play, And I saw something saying"Wad". I thought to my self "What was a wad"? Time and time as the summer went on, I gained more and more knowlege about Doom for pc. I figured out what a "wad" was and perfected it to my knowlege. Then I found a port going by the name "Zdaemon". I downloaded that and gained information about that as well. Since I only had Shareware version, I played on a server named "Doom shareware server". It was a deathmatch server. I played on it about 5 weeks.Then, I've gotten Doom 2 from the internet. Come to find out that it was an incorrect wad, and Zdaemon couldn't patch the wad. Later, I've gotten new wads including Hexan and herictic and other crap. Now I have gotten he hang of it and I know my ways around Doom.
