Continue-- if he'd have spooked out all the horses would have been dinged up, all the horses were completely fine and settled even with him out, when normally they all scream and tattle. So NO that is stupid.

And try posting the trot, I know you have a harder time controlling a horse when your posting but they also have a harder time 'getting forward' when your sitting. Also you need more of a connection, stop throwing the reins away, if you have a connection they feel more secure and you are more lik...

CONT- So that being said.... It IS an excuse when it really shouldn't be, remember, we all look ugly before it gets gorgeous. In ANY sport, I don't care WHAT you do, you're horse(if they truly are good at what they do and they aren't some lame old horse who won't go above trot cause they hurt too...
