When Sean Left Tiffany... (1987) AKA The Pus-Head Year. It was a tumultuous year in the lives of Sean Donely and Tiffany Hill. Sean became the No. 1 target of the notorious DVX and he dumped Tiffany (partly because of that and partly because of Greta Ingstrom). They both got involved with the Quartermaines at HTI, helped battle terrorists at Mount Rushmore and finally realized they were two of a kind ... only to have Tiff's sis, Cheryl Stansbury, arrive on the scene with eyes for Sean and a score to settle with her sister. (1988) The writers' strike delayed Sean and Tiffany's walk down the aisle for most of the year (with good reason, because the GH writers deserved to pen it!), so in the meantime, Sean got involved with the investigation into Frisco's death and Tiffany tried to reconcile herself with loving a man who constantly kept things from her. Their wedding, of course, not just one of the best on daytime, but one of the funniest episodes ever! Avoiding 'Til Death Do Us Part ('91) You could drive a semi through the plotholes in the virus storyline, but it was still compelling. Sean is forced to help Paul and his bosses (Faison, Barrett, Taub), so that Tiffany will get medication every month that staves off certain death. The BIG Storyline (1992-'93) Sharon Wyatt (Tiffany) and John Reilly (Sean) hit it out of the park every day like a couple of 'roided-up baseball players during the Lucas-baby-miscarriage-Jessica<wbr>-murder story that starts with Cheryl's coma and subsequent death and ends after Ryan's confession of murder. Are We Still on the Show? ('93-'95) Hot off their biggest, very well received and Emmy-nominated storyline, Stiff was unceremoniously returned to the back burner. If not for the recurrence of Frank Smith, we would have taken out a missing persons report at Sean's own station. Their final scenes are heartwarming at best and heartbreaking at worst. Their Passions (2005-'08) John Reilly played the role of dastardly Alistair Crane on "Passions" from 2005-'08. And NBC pulled a good one when they brought Sharon Wyatt on in late '05 as Rachel Barrett, the woman in white from Alistair's past.
