'Pete' looks really scary here...also, WHY build a tunnel like that to only have a single lane? Also, how could the Mysterons have known that Pete's truck would have been first in the line at the tunnel...couldnt he have been blocked by another truck? Then the whole plan pretty much falls apart.....

That sailor got of VERY lucky in my opinion...the Mysterons would not normally have been beyond destroying the whole boat just to recreate Major Reeves.
