Hey Patrick,

It took me a long time, but i figured it out. Set up the extreme to be the main on a WDS and what didn't even occur to me is simply hard reset the express and let the setup window do the work. works like a charm, never been the host so much in COD and works with my sound system and my airtunes.

Hey Patrick,

I am a long time viewer and have a question that I don't believe your videos have answered for me yet. I have an Airport Extreme (N) and a Airport Express (B/G) as well as an Xbox 360. My main router (Airport Extreme) is upstairs and my xbox is downstairs. I Want to use my Airport express (which is with my xbox) to connect wirelessly to my Airport extreme (carrying the internet connection) and use my Airport express to connect to Xbox Live. I have attempted to set up a WDS network as well as a joined network, and none allow the Airport express to connect to the internet (although it was able to connect to airtunes). I am wondering, what I can do to get xbox live from my router upstairs without running a cat5 directly down the staircase. Can I use my airport express for this? or is it too old. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey bro, have you figured out a way to change the NAT from Moderate to Open for the 360? It's a little annoying trying to play when other people are using the internet as well and the moderate type means i'm gonna be in the 1 bar range for Live. Thanks.
