    Who ever says the Taino did not wear feathers and head dresses has not read the reports of the Spanish conquistadors or seen the engravings sent to Spain. Even the Lokono today who are the closest cultural ralatives to the Taino recognise these Taino groups.

    @cristian1784 . Yes this is a very good question. However deeper studies have now shown that 84% of the all the DNA material investigated is Taino and only 16% comes from out side indigenous contribution.
