Dom has had a career as an international lawyer - first in business at Linklaters, then at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Since 2006, he has worked in the House of Commons as chief of staff to David Davis and Dominic Grieve, Shadow Home and Justice Secretaries.
In November 2009, Dom was selected by open primary to represent the Conservatives in the Esher and Walton constituency. He was elected as MP in May 2010, with majority of 59%.
In 2009, Dom published his first book, 'The Assault on Liberty', exposing the Labour government's eroson of Britain's proud tradition of freedom.
Dom also enjoys sport. A black belt 3rd dan in karate (former UK southern regions champion and British squad), Dom boxed at university and still enjoys training. Dom is married to Erika, and they enjoy travelling.
