Streep's accent is awful - we lived in London and she sounds like an American trying to sound posh. Also Thatcher was much tougher than portrayed here.

The best book to learn how to cook is Raymond Oliver La Cuisine, which can be bought used on line. No other book covers every aspect of great food and it's easy to follow. Gizzi is a little too hard boiled for me.
