Wrong. The hour perhaps, but the Markan Junior specifies it will happen in the life-time of his audience in the scene in one reference, and in the generation as the other. In fact, the "Wandering Jew" Myth was created to keep someone alive to prevent the obvious problem.

I had a long list of various biblical flat Earth passages in this commentary but I think it all be lost in the Great Void of YT "bettering our viewing pleasure." One request in PM for the passages. I will note that the biblical passages drove the existence of "Flat Earth societies" and, interestingly, attempts such as this:

It does, it does, and 100 CE is not "eight years" after the death. Early 40s is a bit early for Paul--and he never knew the Historical Junior.

Further, the Historical Junior would not have spoken Greek. The saying and texts were COMPOSED in Greek.

Per your comments on my channel: The Bible doesn't say the earth is flat. The Bible does not predict "the end" before 150 AD. All the NT texts were written before the end of the 1st century, and many of Paul's letters were written as early as the 40's.

What do you mean "written in the wrong language"? How can something be written in the wrong language?
