I get that Sega didn't want to just copy the 16-bit games, but I have to ask a) why the levels were so underpopulated and b) why they were so short. Clearly the SMS was capable of so much more.

45 has a much easier solution; push the fire box next to mrs karoshi to the right, push the giant box on top of it then shove the fire box out the way to make the giant box land on top of you.

This is just like the 16-bit games, where the engines were similar enough to port over different features - there's even a Sonic Heroes-style ROM hack of Sonic 2.
Be good to see how this goes, and the possibilities it could open up for modding.

I'd like to second Pokegirl24's comment and ask: why does it keep switching characters between CGI and 2D? I know that shows like Futurama and Family Guy do it sometimes, but only when they need to do a complicated animation, not every other shot for absolutely no reason.

Good guide, but once your archery and sneak skills are high enough you'll have steel arrows coming out your ears. I'm up to 900.
I like the suggestion by @MrSaintSoulja, though, combined with this it should make things a breeze to stock up on better arrows.
