use the new cord for your new controller or clean all connections.... battery controller and usb cable at the connection on the controller there is a metal prong on the side bend this in just slightly to tighten the connection....... its loose..... then sync the x box n controller and it should w...

@paulpark03 Clean all the Connections..... and at the connection of the cord and controller there is a little metal prong on the side.... bend it in to tighten the connection slightly and it should work.... the cords probly worn out.... i did this with mine and it works now...
