"Don't let your heart get big because of your knowledge. Take counsel with the ignorant as well as with the scholar. For the limits of art are not brought, and no artisan is equipped with perfection. Good discourse is more hidden than green stone, yet may be found among the maids at the grindstones." by vizier Ptahhotep (ca. 2200 BCE)

Masculism. The core element in that word is Masculine with an Ism tacked on the end. The shortened version then is Masculism. Adding an ism to the end of masculine means that we are dealing within the ideological and or philosophical realm in regards to the masculine, the male sex, men and boys. This includes more than I will describe here but essentially it involves every aspect of life from birth to death, all of time; past, present and future, how one views themselves, how this group is viewed by others, how this group is affected by others anything and everything that involves the male sex. From the smallest elements like the terminology to theory building and Law.
Feminism and Masculism deal with more than rights, oppression or equality. Those are merely elements of Feminism and Masculism. Feminism is essentially an ideological and or philosophical view from the feminine perspective and Masculism is essentially an ideological and or philosophical view from the masculine perspective.

(Life)
Theory of Evolution: Life on earth evolved gradually beginning with one primitive species - perhaps a self-replicating molecule - that lived more than 3.5 billion years ago; it then branched out over time, throwing off many new and diverse species; and the mechanism for most (but not all) of evolutionary change is natural selection.
Race:
Races are simply populations of a species that are both geographically separated and differ genetically in one or more traits. The existence of different races in humans shows that our populations were geographically separated long enough to allow some genetic divergence to occur.
In response to the distasteful episodes of racism, some scientists have overreacted, arguing that human races have no biological reality and are merely sociopolitical "constructs" that don't merit scientific study. But to biologists, race - so long as it doesn't apply to humans! - has always been a perfectly respectable term...Homo sapiens clearly does have races. And the fact that we do is just another indication that we don't differ from other evolved species.

(Patriarchy)
Theory of Male Dominance: There is universality of the institutions in society, patriarchy; males occupy the overwhelming numbers of upper hierarchical positions, male attainment; the association of high status roles and male dominance; the association of dominance in male-female encounters and relationships with the males, and the cause for this universality is due to the neuroendocrinological differences between men and women. (p.64)
Evidence indicates that women follow their own psychophysiological imperatives and that they would not choose to compete for the goal that men devote their lives to attaining. Women have more important things to do. Men are aware of this and that is why in this and every other society they look to women for gentleness, kindness and love, for refuge from the world of pain and force, from safety from their own excesses. In every society a basic male motivation is the feeling that women and children must be protected. But women cannot have it both ways: if she wishes to sacrifice all this, what she will get in return is the right to meet men on male terms. She will lose. (p.229)

(Free Will vs. Determinism)
The basic argument against ultimate moral responsibility
(1) You do what you do—in the circumstances in which you find yourself—because of the way you are.
(2) So if you're going to be ultimately responsible for what you do, you're going to have to be ultimately responsible for the way you are—at least in certain mental respects.
(3) But you can't be ultimately responsible for the way you are.
(4) So you can't be ultimately responsible for what you do.

SEVERAL years have now elapsed since I first became aware that I had accepted, even from my youth, many false opinions for true, and that consequently what I afterward based on such principles was highly doubtful; and from that time I was convinced of the necessity of undertaking once in my life to rid myself of all the opinions I had adopted, and of commencing anew the work of building from the foundation, if I desired to establish a firm and abiding superstructure in the sciences. - René Descartes

Politically Speaking: I lean strongly toward individualism rather than collectivism but if I could build a Utopia it would be very much in line with John Lennon's Imagine with a strong scientific and logical understanding among the people.
⁜
Philosophically Speaking: I have only just begun some years ago to understand philosophy, my regret is that I did not start early enough in life with it. Since I'm so new to it I have not gravitated toward any one person's philosophy and I'm thinking that's a good thing. The area I enjoy the most is moral philosophy (ethics).

My YouTube user name: I read about it somewhere and thought it fit nicely: Diwata were seen as gods and goddesses. They were benevolent or neutral and could be called upon ritualy for positive crop growth, health, and fortune, but they also caused illness or misfortune if not given proper respect.
✌peace out my brothers, sisters and everyone in between✌

Political Philosophy, Moral Philosophy (Ethics), History, Sociology and Science. Past Interests; Art, Film Making, Photography, Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Women (well, sort of, I'm married now), Partying hard (my liver has had enough)

Music:
I was born in 1971 to a factory workin', hippy Father and Catholic mother. My father is a musician, mainly a solo acoustic guitar player who writes, plays and sings, though never professionally as he had too many kids and never really took the chance. He has played his entire life though, with and without bands, inside and outside the home. His heavy influences are The Beatles, Blues, and much of the other Folk music of the 50's, 60's and 70's. I think my mother listened to artists like Carly Simon, Barbra Streisand, Joan Baez, Karen Carpenter, Crystal Gayle and other female artists of the 50's 60's and 70's. It was my father though that had the greatest influence on me. Beginning in my teen years and still continuing to this day consists mainly of Metal and my core time spent on it was of artists of the 70's, 80's and 90's. I've always enjoyed listening to many types of music from around the world but I always seem to come back to Male solo acoustic guitar playing artists such as Martin Sexton and to Metal.
Books:
Absolutely too many to list. If it's fiction dealing with my interests that I listed and speaks to the human condition, which many do and there is of course value there, then I may read it otherwise I stick to nonfiction.

@DiwataMan I use the argument when it's inane pearl clutching histrionics over a bunch of fucking nothing. It's my general attitude towards this whinging about culture that has NO impact on anyone's ACTUAL life. Well except for people like John, who obviously have such perfect lives that they can invest such emotion over what amounts to a stubbed toe, if even that. We got 99 serious problems in this world and a stupid Android game ain't one.
