@Ezdduf4kuZ Both are great but Chuck Berry is the true king of Rock-n-Roll. He wrote every song he ever sang. Very impressive songwriter. Only songwriting team Lieber & Stoller wrote more Rock-n-Roll songs in the 50s. But they weren't performers. Chuck Berry was.

I really don't know the particulars of their relationship except what I saw in that movie about them. I don't how accurate the movie was. In any case, Ike may have been abusive (I don't know for sure though) but he was extremely talented. If anything, he is under-rated. Tina had a great voice and...

Lets just state it.....It is more difficult for black women to find black men because many black men are opting to be with white women. At this point, black men have become desirable to many white women and vica versa. So that is the real root of the problem.
