WHO ARE WE?
Dissident Display is the simultaneous deconstruction, re-contextualization and presentation of visual imagery in a real-time environment. It is the ultimate post modernist visual experience lending itself to be described as visual improvisation. Dissident Display blends video, photography, typography and interactive multimedia elements to create a multi layered video projection. Themes and ideologies dictate the source material experience; skill and chance drive the process, ultimately yielding a product rich in visual complexity, cultural commentary and contextual reassignment. The projected output becomes a textured narrative that questions notions of culture, reason, creativity and ideology.
