This is the final drop of Splash Mountain at Disneyland Park in Anaheim California. This video shows two synchronized shots side by side. One POV looking straight ahead and a second angle looking back to see not only the facial expressions the scared little kid, but also the water as it soaks the passengers.

This is probably the most popular ride in Critter Country if not the most loved ride in all of Disneyland...by my wife. Riding Splash Mtn is one of the best ways to cool down and avoid a hot flash in the park. If you don't like wet clothes or water on your face then forget it...this ride is not for you because YOU WILL GET WET. And wearing one of those ponchos? That's cheating.

Splash Mountian ride in Disneyland opened on July 17th, 1989. Each log vehicle has a capacity to hold 7 passengers. The ride length is approx. 2640 ft. and the final drop is at a 47 degree angle! As you are taken through the approximately 8 minute ride, you are surrounded with scenes of "The Adventures of Br'er Rabbit" story and will soon have the songs of Laughing Place and Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah, sung by nearly all of the 105 audio-animatronic creatures along the way, stuck in your head for at least the next two hours.

Filmed on the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride in Disneyland California. Dead men tell no tales. I think that's Davey Jones, I don't know though, I didn't see the pirates of the carribbean movie. Is that the one with Johnny Depp? This might be a good clip to play for little kids right before bedtime. Enjoy.

Welcome to the Jungle! Sure, this is no Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull blockbuster, but for all who like Disney, travel shows and fun spoof videos, then how lucky are you to spend the next 13 minutes of your life right here enjoying all three of those things at once? That hardly ever happens!

This video is actually three Disneyland attractions cleverly wrapped intro one video and disguised as a copycat show of a popular public television travel program GlobeTrekker. Introduction to Adventureland Tarzan's Treehouse, The Jungle Boat Cruise ride, and Indiana Jones Temple of the Forbidden Eye ride are all here and revealed in a way never seen before. Sure there may be things that just don't add up...like European Mayans that invent the drinking fountain, a riverboat cruise up the Congo that includes wildlife from South America, and four-wheeling inside of ancient temple ruins in India to name just a few. But hey, that's all part of the suspension of disbelief kind of fun included here.

A little background...
Ever wanted to make your own version of your favorite t.v. show? No? Three days before heading to Disneyland in the fall of 2007, I had this crazy idea that I ran by my wife...let's take our video camera and create a spoof of one of our favorite Travel Channel shows - Globe Trekker. We did some quick planning, came up with some wardrobe and script ideas, packed our bags and some video gear and we were off to the Magic Kingdom...Ian Wright and Megan McCormick style. Oh yes, and we emailed Comedian Tim Babb from LA who we had never met before (and who had never seen Globe Trekker himself). We found his Disney page on youtube and asked him if he would meet us in Adventureland and play the part of our guide, Danger Dave, in our travel show parody and pilot episode of "Globe Tracker". Tim came dressed perfectly for his part and literally within about 10 minutes of my wife and I meeting with Tim and tossing around a few ideas, we started filming and were done within a few hours. Everything was unrehearsed and improvised. There were only a handful of instances where we did two or three takes of a scene!

Filming was the easy part. The editing and pulling together music, graphics, intro animation etc., were all done in little bits over the course of several months as time allowed.

There are two more episodes that have been filmed and are still in the works...so stay tuned.

This video hardly does this attraction justice. So next time you're at Disney's California Adventure, be sure not to leave until you've gone into the Animation Building on Hollywood Blvd and see this in person. It's so cool and I was hypnotized by it. Totally stroboscopic dude! Toy Story 2 will need an animated display like this.

If you have Younglings that love Star Wars, and whether or not they are a young Jedi Student in training, this is a must-not-miss attraction. Kids, with lightsaber in hand, have the chance to meet face to face with Darth Vader or Darth Maul at the Tomorrowland Terrace in Disneyland. The best part for these initiates is recieving their diploma at the end certifying their official advancement to a Padawan Learner. Shot with multiple camera angles and edited for maximum viewing enjoyment, this is perhaps the most exciting, most watchable version you'll see on YouTube.
