Just felt like making a video lol.
Anyways, here are some details about invisible shines and whatnot:
-INVISIBLE SHINES-
-All:
All of these have to be frame perfect.
If you turn around on the first frame you shine, it will stay invisible, whereas if you turn around after the first frame, it will return to normal.
-From Sliding Off a Ledge:
Just find the timing (right before you leave the ledge). Can be done with both Fox and Falco.
-From Full Jump:
Can only be done from very specific locations. (Where there are slopes under platforms to adjust your jump height primarily) Can be done by both Fox and Falco.
-From Dash Jump Cancel (on a slope):
This is the hardest one to do with consistency. You must dash, then jump cancel shine. I'm not entirely sure what determines it, but I do know it's not how long you wait after dashing alone. I'm assuming both Fox and Falco can do this, however I have yet to try it much with Falco.
-From Walk-Off:
You can only do this one from certain times after you've walked off a surface. This one is very specific, so there aren't many places you would be able to do them. I have only done this one with Falco, but it's likely there are spots Fox can do it from too.
-From Wall Jump:
Your wall jump must be spaced correctly, for you can only land with the invisible shine from certain points in your wall jump. Both Fox and Falco can do this.
-OTHER METHODS-
-Shine on certain parts of the stage while it's changing on pokemon stadium.
-Full jump directly onto Onix' face and it does it sometimes.
-Jump and hit you head on something and shine when you land. Can only be done from certain parts of the animation after jumping into a ceiling.
-Jump cancel a shine on the cloud as it transitions from going towards the right to going upwards.
-There's probably more secret ones and maybe one I forgot.
-PSEUDO INVISIBLE SHINES-
-All:
All of the pseudo invisible shines have no hit boxes. They are only invisible until the 4th frame after pressing down B.
-From Short Hop:
Try not to fast fall and do it right when you land. Fox can do it from neutral short hop while Falco cannot. They can both do it from backwards short hop.
-From Double Jump:
Can be done upon landing from double jump or by passing through platforms via double jump. Can be done anywhere by both Fox and Falco.
-From Jump Cancel (on slope):
As long as you are moving towards the slope and you jump cancel shine, it will be invisible. This one is not frame perfect, unlike the rest.
They can also be done from full jumps.
