This will probably be why we will never see a Gundam live action movie. They simply went and made it too early. Movies as they are now? It would be a good time to make a live action Gundam movie.

When Gundam SEED was first coming out, I was wondering what a Gundam series against an alien race would be like. I thought it would be stellar cool. It wasn't. They messed up bad.
