1. "Personable Background Image WITH TRANSPARENCY" -
2. "Profile Section on Front Page to Show Who They Are" -
3. "Comment Section on Front Page" Where people can interact with the Artist, Allowing the Artist to "Keep in Touch with His or Her FANBASE on a Personal Level" -
4. "VIDEO player SCREEN or even Multiple Screens (3), Allowing Artists to SHOWCASE their OWN as well as FAVORED Videos on their Front Channel Home Page"
The Front Channel Homepage Should Be "THE STAGE" if you will, Where Artists Present Themselves to The World !
ALSO Allow Viewer to REMAIN ON CHANNEL PAGE WHEN VIEWING THAT CHANNELS VIDEOS instead of the Current Proposed Layout Which Takes YOU AWAY FROM THAT CHANNEL AND MAKES THE VIEWER FORGET THEY WERE ON YOUR PAGE AND WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS IN THE FIRST PLACE.
IT JUST SIMPLY TAKES THEM AWAY !
Without the above concerns properly addressed, Youtube will NOT advance into the future as a World Class Operation as they should.

They need to step back and re-think their course.

I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL LAYOUT BECAUSE IT LIMITS OUR CREATIVITY AND PERSONAL EXPRESSION AND IT WILL SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCE THE SOCIAL INTERACTIONS WE'VE COME TO ENJOY HERE.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A FRIEND INVITE IF YOU HAVE ADOPTED THE NEW CHANNEL LAYOUT. I have to know something about a person before I accept and I am not willing to sift through the grey fragments of the new design to find whatever bits and pieces that remain of your personality.
YOUTUBE BOYCOTT EVERY SUNDAY TO PROTEST THE NEW CHANNEL LAYOUT! DON'T LOG IN AND MAKE ALL YOUR VIDEOS PRIVATE! NO VIDEO VIEWS = NO ADVERTISING $$ FOR YT!!! SPREAD THE WORD!!!

TO SWITCH BACK TO THE OLD LAYOUT:
At the top right of your channel you should see a white button called "Edit Channel". Click on it and it should open up a screen at the top of your channel. There are three tabs and you should be in the screen for "Appearance". Right under the title "Channels version" near the top, you should see another long narrow button that says, "Switch Back to the Old Channels Design". Click on it and it should put you back into the old channel layout.
