June 2010 update - I am back! Long story short, I plateaued on LA Weightloss and they were unable to help me get through. Their advice of "just stick to the plan" got old after 6 months of little loss. Then one day, I showed up for a weigh in and the center was closed. Completely gone!

I maintained my loss for about 2 years and then tried Slim 4 Life to lose the rest of my weight, with no success. I decided to be happy with where I was.

I got into a relationship and the long story short, ended up gaining back 20 pounds. I see a lot of my old binging habits coming back, mostly due to the stress of the break up from that relationship and some struggles with my son's health.

I have researched HCG and am going to give it a go. As long as I'm not hungry I'm sure I'll be able to stick with it, but plan to vlog my experience...good, bad or otherwise. :)

Hey all you lovely people out there.

In February of 2007 I weighed 260 pounds! I knew it was time for a change so I joined a popular weightloss program (which I won't name since I don't know if that is cool with them).

I have been very successful on the program which is very simple and healthy. I have lost 70 pounds by eating fresh, "regular" foods. Nothing fancy, just proper portions of the right foods to boost my metabolism.
I have at least 20 more pounds to lose.

A big part of being successful at changing your diet is pre-planning your meals. I plan out and pre-pack my meals at least five days a week.

This is where you come in. I can't share my diet plan with you because I am not a dietician and don't have any rights to the plan that was prescribed for me through my program, but I can share my personal experience with you as well as what I'm eating and some of my favorite recipes.

I have to warn you though - I'm a weird eater. The things I eat may not appeal to everyone, but they are healthy and certainly interesting sometimes (and good if you ask me!).

So if you're on your own weightloss journey, I invite you to join me for menu ideas, recipes and overall support.
