@rwodicka1 Yes its mechanical but the player is assisted via pneumatic "Barker Machines" which make the thouch light and operate the couplers etc. It rattles a bit but the touch is light and responsive.Doesnt make it more difficult to play.

I really enjoyed this! Its a piece I like and like playing - especially the Chorale Melody played by the feet! I borrowed the stop arrangement when I played this on the Cavaille-Coll organ at Manchester Town Hall. The Grosse Clarinette there is gorgeous!
@RobPer2011 I played the organ part at University (four manual organ there. massive beastie) and in the usual concert rehearsals didnt play on "full organ" until the final dress rehearsal when I let it rip and the back row of the violins fell off the stage. whoops!! So yeah even adults get scared...
