@mickster1952 This was not part of the Carnegie Hall Jazz Concert (Jan. 16, 1938). But, as with any Fletcher Henderson arrangement, IT WORKS!!!!

@davewells Where, oh where, can I get that arrangement? I play regularly with a saxophone quartet and we'd just LOVE to do this, too.

This is a very smoothly performed version of the great waltz - I'll be transcribing this for my band and group to play. Clean, easy to hear, very well done. Thank you.

@heinbanjo12 I agree completely. This is, easily, the finest rendition I've ever heard. Bessie could sing blues that almost hurt it was so good! And, Louis' accompaniment is just perfect. I do like some swing era versions (Glenn Miller, Benny). But, this is the top version, IMOP.

@1toomuchswag This, in HD, is probably the best YouTube jazz piece I've heard yet, and, there have been some pretty great recordings. Keep up this great work.
