Diane is a writer, director and producer for film, stage and television.

On the film front, Diane's first short film titled The Sacrifice,which deals with the controversial issue of child marriage within the United States (www.thesacrificemove.com) won "Best Director" at the
Monaco International Film Angel Awards, "Special Jury Prize" at Lady Filmmakers Festival, and "Audience Choice Award" at Holly Shorts Film Festival. The Sacrifice is now being distributed by Shorts TV International.

Diane's second short film, Telemafia, (a comedy about
a conversational duel between a telemarketer and a consumer) is currently on the festival circuit, and premiered at the Dingle International Film Festival in Ireland March.

Great American Pigeon Race is Diane's third film and first animated short.

Diane is the writer/producer on the upcoming "We'll Always Have Dingle", a documentary about the Dingle Film Festival, working with director Geoff Wonfor (History of the Beatles) and writer/director for Sassa, a documentary of events taking place on the India/Burma border.

On the stage front, Diane founded West of Broadway (www.westofbroadway.org) in order to stage updated classics for family audiences. As Artistic Director of West of Broadway she has penned and directed modern adaptations of many classics, and has recently expanded programming to include "You, the Jury,"TM, a series of interactive courtroom dramas.

Diane is also the author of over 55 published children's books and young adult novels. Her most recent titles (adaptations of Jungle Book, Doctor Dolittle, Phantom of the Opera,The Five Little Peppers, Animal Stories and Greek Myths) are published by Sterling Books -- a division of Barnes & Noble Publishing. Diane is currently working on a series of teen books with Olympian figure skater Rachael Flatt, based on Rachael's road to the Olympics.
