@FragileZeroSpace You may or may not like the earliest true industrial, a fairly unknown group called Throbbing Gristle. Without them, the sequencing and drum tracks and samples of bands like Godflesh might never have come about. But even TG drew a lot of influence from composers like Stockhausen...
